Captain Jack’s: booking a meal inside the pirate setting
Plan a Captain Jack’s meal around its indoor setting, current menu and Disney booking calendar; a reservation does not guarantee a waterside table.
Updated on 25 September 2026 using the official sources below. This is a planning guide, not a first-hand restaurant review.
The setting is indoors
Captain Jack’s – Restaurant des Pirates is in Adventureland at Disneyland Park, alongside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Its themed lighting is part of the restaurant atmosphere. Our earlier “sunset strategy” incorrectly treated it as an outdoor sunset viewpoint; the time of sunset is not a reason to choose a particular sitting here.
Choose a time that fits your park day
Use the official calendar for your party size and date. Compare the available lunch or dinner times with your attractions and entertainment plans, leaving time to reach the restaurant. There is no verified universal 8 a.m. release rule or guaranteed trick for obtaining a waterside table. You can ask the restaurant about a preference, but table allocation remains subject to availability.
Menu, access and expectations
Check the current official menu and budget for adults, children and drinks before booking. A themed restaurant is not automatically a character-dining experience. Confirm dietary requirements with the restaurant and make sure everyone has the park admission required for the visit.
If the restaurant is full, keep a second meal option rather than building your entire day around a cancellation. An availability alert can help monitor a matching slot, but it neither holds a table nor controls where you will sit.

Plan the rest of your meals
Check the official Disneyland Paris calendar for your date and party size. Bookings can open up to two months ahead, or from stay confirmation for Disney Hotel guests; some restaurants open later. A meal plan does not replace a table booking.
Try another time or date and keep an alternative restaurant. DlandTables offers paid email alerts for matching availability; you complete the booking with Disney. An alert does not guarantee a table.
