Disney restaurant alerts: what to check before subscribing

An availability alert is useful when you already know the restaurant, date and party size you need. Before subscribing, compare destination coverage, notification channel, billing period and the number of active searches.

Before you book

  • Check that your exact restaurant appears in the service’s current list. A destination name alone is not enough.
  • Compare the total subscription cost for your search period, renewal terms and cancellation controls.
  • Check whether a notification is email, SMS or another channel, and whether it actually books a table.
  • Keep an alternative meal plan. Receiving an alert is not the same as securing a reservation.

Book with Disney, then use alerts if needed

Start with the official booking calendar for your exact date and party size. An empty search result does not tell you when the next table will appear. Keep a second restaurant or time in mind so your visit does not depend on a cancellation.
