Key takeaways
- Cancellations are how a fully booked restaurant frees up. Disney asks guests who can't make it to cancel, and the table goes back into its booking system for someone else.
- An email alert is the lowest-effort way to catch those tables. It watches your restaurant, date, party size and time range; you still book with Disney, and no table is guaranteed.
- Disney does not publish when cancelled tables reappear. If you check yourself, use the official app or website at different times of day and widen your time range.
- If your date is not bookable yet, be ready when the window opens: 2 months ahead, or from stay confirmation for Disney Hotel guests. Some restaurants open their bookings later.
- A meal plan pays for meals but does not reserve a table. Walk-in and quick-service restaurants, listed in the official app, are the back-up plan.
1. Set an availability alert for your restaurant
An alert service checks Disney's availability for you and emails you when a table matching your date, party size and time range appears. It is the only method that keeps watching for cancellations without taking your time, which matters because freed tables are often taken quickly.
DlandTables started with Disneyland Paris: the site is available in 7 languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Italian and Portuguese), shows official menu prices in euros and explains each restaurant's booking rules, location and park-ticket needs. It is a paid service with no free plan, alerts are sent by email only, and you complete the booking with Disney; an alert never holds a table.
2. Re-check Disney's app and website for cancellations
Cancelled tables reappear in the official Disneyland Paris app and on disneylandparis.com, and Disney asks guests who can't come to cancel. Disney does not publish a time when this happens, so check at different times of day rather than waiting for one moment.
Widen your search to other meal times that would work for your group. Disney also takes bookings by phone on +33 1 60 30 40 50.
3. Book the day the booking window opens
For a date that is not bookable yet, the surest way to avoid a full restaurant is to book on day one: 2 months ahead, or as soon as your stay is confirmed if you are staying at a Disney Hotel. Disney notes that some restaurants open bookings later, so check the restaurant's page.
Because Disney Hotel guests can book earlier, some tables on popular dates may already be taken when the 2-month window opens for everyone else.
4. Add a Disneyland Paris meal plan, then still book
Half Board and Full Board meal plans are added to a Disney Hotel + Disney Park Tickets package and pay for meals at eligible restaurants. Disney says a meal plan does not guarantee a reservation: you still book table-service restaurants and buffets.
For stays from 1 April 2027, Disney is replacing its meal plans with four new options: Essential, Extra, Signature and Royal.
5. Try another time, day or nearby restaurant
The most popular restaurants come in pairs, so the alternative is often a few minutes away. Agree a back-up with your group before you search again.
| Restaurant | Where | Type | Nearby alternative |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bistrot Chez Rémy | Disney Adventure World (park ticket needed) | Table service | PYM Kitchen or The Regal View in the same park |
| PYM Kitchen | Disney Adventure World (park ticket needed) | Buffet | Bistrot Chez Rémy in the same park |
| Downtown Restaurant | Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel | Buffet | Manhattan Restaurant in the same hotel |
| Manhattan Restaurant | Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel | Table service | Downtown Restaurant in the same hotel |
6. Fall back on walk-in and quick-service restaurants
Disney's own booking page says that if no tables are available for your date, there are many walk-in restaurants, listed in the official app. Quick-service counters never take bookings, and in Disney Village, outside the parks, Five Guys, Earl of Sandwich and McDonald's need no park ticket.

How we ranked these methods
- Does it still work once the restaurant is fully booked for your date?
- How much of your time and attention does it take?
- What does it cost on top of the meal?
- Can every fact be checked on disneylandparis.com? Every method ends with a booking made with Disney.
- Disclosure: DlandTables runs one of the alert services in method 1. Alerts rank first because they are the only method that keeps watching for cancellations without your time; they still cost money and guarantee nothing.
Which option fits your situation
| Your situation | Best method |

| You can be flexible on time or restaurant | Try other meal times and the nearby alternatives above. |

Fully booked Disneyland Paris restaurants: questions and answers
What does fully booked mean at a Disneyland Paris restaurant?
It means Disney's booking system has no table left for that date, party size and time. It can change: tables come back when other guests cancel.
How do I get a table at a fully booked Disneyland Paris restaurant?
Watch for cancellations, by re-checking Disney's app and website or with an email alert, and book with Disney as soon as a table appears. Widening your time range or trying a nearby restaurant also helps.
What time are cancellations released at Disneyland Paris restaurants?
Disney does not publish a release time, and a table can come back whenever a guest cancels. Checking at different times, or using an alert, works better than waiting for one moment.
How does a Disneyland Paris restaurant alert work?
You choose a restaurant, date, party size and time range, and the service emails you when matching availability appears. With DlandTables you then book with Disney yourself; the alert does not hold the table.
How much does DlandTables cost?
DlandTables has paid plans only, Premium and Premium+, and no free plan. The current price, billing period and number of active alerts are shown in the form before you subscribe.
What happens if I have a meal plan but no reservation?
Disney says a meal plan does not guarantee a reservation, so you still need to book table-service restaurants and buffets. Quick-service restaurants need no booking.
Where can I eat at Disneyland Paris without a reservation?
Quick-service restaurants in the parks and Disney Village never need a booking, and Disney lists walk-in restaurants in its official app. In Disney Village, Five Guys, Earl of Sandwich and McDonald's are outside the parks, so no park ticket is needed.
